We are happy to announce that FOREIGNER is officially in production, with the first stage of principal photography completed on August 30 in the town of Kikinda in Serbia!
Inspired by a series of unsolved real-life murders, which took place in a small town in northern Serbia, FOREIGNER is a slow-burning psychological thriller that weaves a compelling web of mystery around the personal tale of an Interpol detective working on the case.
It is an unconventional serial killer procedural set against a rarely seen backdrop of post-civil war Serbia, which by telling the story of the man who is trying to solve the murders, provides a fascinating glimpse into the culture and violent history of the place.

Thank you so much for visiting our site.
In order to raise the budget for FOREIGNER, we have devised a simple share system based on the number of individual frames our film consists of. One second of a moving image is made of 25 frames. That is 1,500 frames per minute. The length of our film is 100 minutes, which makes it 150,000 frames in the entire film.
We are offering you the opportunity to buy one frame of the film for £2, one second would be £50, one minute £3,000 etc. You can choose the number of frames you want to purchase and if you would like your contribution to be an investment or a donation (for this option, please click on DONATE).
As an investor, you will be paid back from the first pound the film makes and once you recoup your initial contribution, you will be given a proportionate share of the 50% of the film's profit, with the other 50% going to the cast and crew. Please click here for full terms and conditions.
The fundraising period will commence on 1 December 2010 and conclude on 1 June 2011, with the film scheduled to go into production in the summer of 2011. Thank you for helping us bring FOREIGNER to life. For regular updates on the progress of our campaign, please follow us on Facebook.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
I acknowledge that the financial contribution I make entitles me to a proportionate share of the film’s earnings. If the film recoups its budget (minus any administrative costs, legal or sales agents’ fees), I will be paid back the full amount I invested. If the film goes into profit, I will receive a proportionate share of the 50% of the film’s profit, with the other 50% going to the cast and crew.
For example, buying one frame of the film (£2) would entitle me to a 0.00016% share. Buying one minute (£3,000) would give me 0.25% (calculation based on 150,000 frames sold). The investors will be paid back from the first pound the film makes, with the largest investors being paid first.
Purchasing frames does not entitle me to any legal rights (including share of the film’s copyright) or moral rights to the project. The copyright to the film and any related intellectual property (including its screenplay, soundtrack and the content of this website, as well as any other material related to the project either existing or yet to be created) are owned by Foreigner Films (the producers).
If by the end of the fundraising period the producers have not raised enough money to make the film, I will be paid back the full amount I invested, minus the PayPal charges, unless I have chosen the DONATE option. The producers reserve the right to make the film for the amount raised at the end of the stated period if they believe that is achievable under the circumstances, in which case my share in the film will proportionately increase.
I agree that the producers can contact me via any personal details I may have provided for the purposes of keeping me informed about the film’s progress. My personal details will not be sold or otherwise passed on to any third party not involved with the production or marketing of the film.
Foreigner Films are solely responsible for this project, and adhering to these terms and conditions. Any other parties named or associated with the project have no such responsibility.
